April 23, 2017 – Confetti Park Players sing the national anthem and start the race at the 16th Annual A Run Through History, a 1-mile and 5K run/walk benefiting Save Our Cemeteries. http://www.saveourcemeteries.org/

October 31, 2015 – Confetti Park will be at the Louisiana Book Festival in downtown Baton Rouge, at the State Capitol! We will be set up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m, to meet other Louisiana children’s authors and illustrators and to showcase The Little Mouse Santi and the new Confetti Park Players Louisiana music CD and associated booklets! Look for us in Exhibitors’ Row.

November 7, 2015 – Katy Hobgood Ray will attend the 19th Anniversary celebration of Friends of Leadbelly at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Mooringsport, La. North Louisiana musicians will gather at Huddie Ledbetter’s grave to perform his music. A special episode of Confetti Park will be dedicated to this event and the music of Leadbelly.

November 7, 2015 – David Eugene Ray will do a reading and a book signing at the New Orleans Book Festival.

November 14, 2015 – 9:30 a.m., Miss Katy Ray, choir director of the  Confetti Park Players, will lead a toddler-set sing-a-long at the Algiers United Methodist Church Health Fair.

November 14, 2015 – The Confetti Park Players, a kids chorus, will perform at the Algiers Folk Art Festival. We perform at 11:30 a.m. More about the fest at http://folkartzone.org.

November 29, 2015 – Confetti Park holiday sales! We will be selling children’s books and CDs at the Cajun Christmas celebration sponsored by Confetti Kids, at Confetti Park at the corner of Pelican and Verret, New Orleans, LA 70114.

December 5, 2015 – Katy Ray and the Confetti Park Players will perform at the Crescent City Farmers Market located in downtown New Orleans at 700 Magazine Street at Girod Street. We will be selling CDs! 10 a.m.-noon.

December 19, 2015 – 2 p.m., Katy Ray and the Confetti Park Players will perform at the Louisiana Music Factory. Stick around for the great Zachary Richard, who has a new children’s book out, and Todd Mouton, author of Way Down In Louisiana. Come out, support us and buy Louisiana-made gifts for kids at your favorite local record store.

January 8, 2016 – Katy Hobgood Ray, host & producer of the Confetti Park radio show and director of the Confetti Park Players, will be a featured guest on Steppin’ Out! hosted by Peggy Scott Laborde. Details TBA.

January 16, 2016 -3 p.m. The Krewe of Confetti Kids Mardi Gras Parade rolls at 3 p.m. in beautiful Algiers Point! The Confetti Park Players will be featured riders in a special float. Pre-party and lineup begins at 1:30 p.m. at Confetti Park, corner of Pelican and Verret.

January 28, 2016 – 8 a.m. – David Eugene Ray was on WWL-TV Morning News to talk about The Little Mouse Santi, his children’s book which was named one of the Best Books of 2015 by Kirkus Reviews!

February 26-27, 2016 – Katy Ray, host of Confetti Park, and The Little Mouse Santi author David Eugene Ray were at the Southwest Louisiana Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators Guild conference in Lake Charles, La. Katy gave a presentation called “Documenting Louisiana children’s music and storytelling traditions.”

March 7, 2016 – Katy Ray hosted an interactive children’s music set at Newcomb Children’s Center.

March 10, 2016 – Book reading by author David Ray (The Little Mouse Santi) with musical performances by Katy Hobgood Ray.  Andrew Wilson Charter School Literacy Night.

March 19, 2016 – Katy Ray will host three interactive children’s music sets at the Fête Française 2016 hosted by Ecole Bilingue de la Nouvelle-Orléans on Saturday, March 19 at 12:20-12:50, 1:20-1:50 and 2:20-2:50.  The fête is from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m at 821 General Pershing Street.

March 28, 2016 – It’s NOLA Pyrate Week in New Orleans! At 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 28 at Hubbell Library (725 Pelican), the NOLA Pyrates and Confetti Park will celebrate NOLA Pyrate Week with readings, songs and pirate sayings! Among the pirates in attendance will be Captain John Swallow, Quartermaster Seika Hellbound and other mates.  John “Ol’ Chumbucket” Baur —co-founder o’ International Talk Like A Pirate Day and multi-published author—will read from his new book, Chrissie Warren: Pirate Hunter.

April 2, 2016 – Houma Pyrate Day, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Confetti Park will be at the Pyrate Market gathering kid-friendly pirate stories and songs for radio and podcast. This is a family friendly event.

April 15, 2016 – Confetti Park host Katy Hobgood Ray will be at the NuNu Arts & Culture Collective for Youth Day during French Week/FireWater (April 11-April 17). Katy will be running a student workshop called “Recording Time Capsules” for the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana.

April 16, 2016 – International Record Store Day! The Confetti Park Players will give an in-store performance at Euclid Records in the Bywater, 3301 Chartres St, New Orleans, LA 70117. 4 p.m.

September 7-10, 2016 – “Feufollet” is an animated short produced by Confetti Park. It will be presented at the Austin Music Video Festival. This is the music video for the song featuring Katy Hobgood Ray & the Confetti Park Players, animated by Santiago Germano and Gustav Wenzel.

October 1, 2016 – Confetti Park will be selling books, CDs, and promoting the Louisiana kids radio show and podcast at the New Orleans Baby & Child Fest at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner. David Eugene Ray will be signing copies of The Little Mouse Santi. March 18, 2017 – Earth Fest Concert at Audubon Zoo – 12:30 – 2:15 p.m. Katy leads interactive music from 12:30-1:15. Then the full band and the Confetti Park Players take the stage at 1:15!

March 25, 2017 -11 a.m. – 5 p.m. – Family Pyrate Day In Algiers presented by NOLA Pyrate Week and Confetti Kids, to benefit children’s parks and programming in Algiers Point. Confetti Park Players perform pirate songs from 12-12:30 p.m. at Warren’s Corner, and Confetti Park radio will sponsor a storytelling stage featuring Louisiana children’s authors and pirate enthusiasts!

March 31, 2017 – Katy Hobgood Ray & David Ray of Confetti Park at Whale Fest at Arden Cahill Academy in Gretna, La.
